Teagan Blust Personal Statement

I am not the traditional football player. I was not a 5 star recruit with offers. I only played my senior year of highschool football and immedietly fell in love with the game. I decided i wanted to continue my career in college, but was worried when I realized most college players have played years of high school and middle school football. Instead of giving up on my dream, I put my head down and I worked. I ended my senior season with a 9-0 regular season record with my team and was invited to play in a senior all star game. After that i was started getting offers. I was worried because I had only gotten a couple of NAIA schools. But then I went to a football camp for North Greenville University, an NCAA Division 2 college football college. My goal with this is to inspire people who started pursuing their dream later than most. I want to be proof that it doesn't matter how late you start. If you put your head down and work, you will make it.
